One feature that has been requested a few times is the ability to insert links to previous stories directly into your current entry without having to go to the web browser and find the PermaLink URl and manually encode the html for the link.

With this in mind and with the new ability to mix HTMl and RichText there is now a new 'Insert' menu that will allow you to insert different types of HTML directly into your content.. You can select from a few HTML standard types like BlockQuotes, Links and Images where you will be prompted for the text or url's to use in the html or you can select from some internal resources like a link to a previous story, a Quick Image and even a web poll.

Are there any other resources that you think would be good to have on the Insert menu ?

Gravatar Image1 - A link to another blog that triggers a trackback? (Could be a normal HTML link with a class "trackback" and the QS agent checks the page for the trackback URL or so.
;-) stw

Gravatar Image2 - Trackbacks in BlogSphere V3 are currently uncoded. I'm leaving them till last as it's a feature I want to try implement correctly.

I'll keep your suggestion in mind till then.

Gravatar Image3 - I'm so sorry, but this is off top.

Gravatar Image4 - Maybe an insert "notes link" where you can specify the text to link pointing to a notes document or db

Gravatar Image5 - I have coded a "insert file" to create a direct link to a file from "Downloads"
